If you get the following error on a .NET IIS website, you might find yourself lost "forever". Some will point to a common (and more obvious) solution related to giving your AppPoolIdentity access to the website folder. If this solves your error, then great. If not, what might solve it is installing the IIS URL Rewrite Module (http://www.iis.net/downloads/microsoft/url-rewrite).
